Ansupa Lake is a 231-hectare horseshoe-shaped fresh water oxbow lake on the left bank of the Mahanadi river, opposite Banki in Cuttack district, Odisha, India. It is 40 km from the city of Cuttack.
Ansupa is connected with the Mahanadi on its southern side with a channel called Kabula Nala (Kabula Channel) through which flood water of the river Mahanadi passes the lake. Lake Ansupa is famous as it is the largest freshwater lake in Odisha State.
