Tour Plan

Day 01: Arrival at Bhubaneswar

Arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport, where you will be greeted and assisted before transferring to your hotel. Later, explore the Ekamra area of Bhubaneswar to capture photographs of daily life and temple activities. Visit ancient temples such as Parshurameswar, Mukteswar, and Lingaraj, known for their beautiful architecture and spiritual ambiance.

Day 02: Bhubaneswar – Puri (Via Pipli & Konark)

After breakfast, drive to Puri, visiting Pipli (famous for appliqué handicrafts) and the world-renowned Sun Temple of Konark enroute.

Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Jagannath Temple (please note: non-Hindus are not permitted inside the main temple complex) and explore Raghurajpur, a heritage crafts village known for its Pattachitra paintings.

Day 03: Excursion to Chilika Lake In the morning, take an excursion to Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon, to see the playful Irrawaddy dolphins and migratory birds. Return to Puri for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Puri – Gopalpur (Via Mangalajodi) After breakfast, drive to Gopalpur-on-Sea, visiting the Mangalajodi Bird Sanctuary en route — a paradise for bird lovers and photographers. Arrive and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Gopalpur.

Day 05: Gopalpur – Rayagada (Meet the Kondha Tribes) Drive to Rayagada, home of the Tattoo-faced Kondha tribes. Meet the Kutia Kondha community, especially the women known for their traditional facial tattoos — a rare and symbolic art form. With their permission, capture moments of daily life and work in the fields. En route, stop at cotton fields for more photographic opportunities. Check in at your hotel in Rayagada.

Day 06: Excursion to Puttasing Hills – Lanjia Saura Tribes** After breakfast, take an excursion to the Puttasing Hills to meet theLanjia Saura tribes. The Sauras are famous for their unique Idital wall paintings, depicting ancestral spirits and village life. Photograph their traditional homes, attire, and cultural expressions. Later, return to Rayagada for an overnight stay.

Day 07: Rayagada – Chatikona Market – Jeypore (Wednesday Only) Visit the Chatikona Weekly Market, where the Dongoria Kondh tribes descend from the Niyamgiri Hills to trade local produce. Their colorful attire, jewelry, and tattoos make for vibrant photography. After exploring the market, drive to Jeypore, visiting Paroja tribal villages along the way to observe and photograph their organic farming methods. Overnight stay at Jeypore.

Day 08: Jeypore – Onkudelli Market – Jeypore (Thursday Only) Today’s highlight is a visit to the Onkudelli Market, home to the Bonda and Gadaba tribes — among Odisha’s most traditional communities.The Bonda women, with their bead necklaces and unique attire, and the Gadaba people, known for their colorful dress and rhythmic Dhemsa dance, offer incredible opportunities for cultural and portrait photography. Return to Jeypore for an overnight stay.

Day 09: Jeypore – Vishakhapatnam / Bhubaneswar After breakfast, visit the Kunduli Market, one of the largest tribal vegetable markets in Odisha.Later, drive to Visakhapatnam (230 km / 5 hrs) for your flight or return to Bhubaneswar (600 km / 10 hrs).

If returning to Bhubaneswar, overnight stay at the hotel and departure the following morning.
