Day 1: Bhubaneshwar


On the day one of your Odisha tribal tours, you will be arriving at Bhubaneshwar airport and driven to the hotel for refreshment and having food. Your first day of the tribal tour in Odisha will begin with exploring the capital city- Bhubaneswar. This city is rich in heritage and etiquettes. Here your tour will begin by visiting the greatest tribal museum in Odisha. This tribal museum has an amazing collection of artifacts and handmade wares, which are quite beautiful and valuable.After visiting the museum, we will provide you the lunch. Then at the noon, you will be heading to the Jain caves- the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves (located just a few kilometers from Bhubaneswar). These caves were the habitation of Jains and Buddhist monks. Here you can find around thirty-three rock cut caves.You will be staying at a hotel in Bhubaneswar in the night.


Day 2: Bhubaneswar


You will enjoy a guided city tour for visiting some amazing places like the elegant and graceful Rajarani Temple. This temple is famous for its mythological stories and great architects. Thereafter, you will be visiting the Parameshwara temple, which is a renowned as Odisha’s oldest temple and dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then we will be taking you to the Muktesvara Deula or Temple (renowned as the gem of Odisha), which is a beautiful Lord Shiva temple that is known for its heritage beauty. In this temple, you will find all the details Buddhists, Hindus, and Jains. Your next stop will be the Brahmehswara temple and Lingaraj Temple. By visiting the Lingaraj Temple, you will be amazed at its enchanting architectural beauty, carving and stone sculptures. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is forbidden-for Non-Hindus. Day 3: Bhubaneshwar – Dhauli – Pipli – Konark – Puri


The day three of your Odisha tribal tour will start with the departure to the beautiful place-Dhauli, which is also known as the Shanti Stupa. This is the place where you will find the carved edicts of Emperor Asoka. Dhauli is the place where the Kalinga war was fought. The amazingly beautiful and carved in white Shanti Stupa is believed to be built by the Japanese.Thereafter, you enjoy a drive to an amazing city- Puri that is full of culture and heritage. Day 4: Puri – Chilika – Gopalpur:


Morning drive to Chilika Lake at Mangalajodi. This lake is Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon, which is shallow and separated from the Bay of Bengal (by a long strip of sand just 60 km away). The Chilika Lake is the largest in India and place for migratory birds with amazing ecosystems and fisheries. Along the way to way, you can visit the village of Raghurajpur, which is famous for paintings “Pata Chitra” and drawings of palm leaves. On your arrival at the Chilika Lake, you will enjoy a pleasurable cruise trip in the handmade boat to enjoy the scenic beauty. Thereafter, you visit the beautiful town of Gopalpur (located on the bank of Bay of Bengal). Day 5: Gopalpur – Rayagada:

Day 6: Rayagada – Chatikona  – Jeypore ( Market  day only on Wednesday )


The day six of your tribal tour in Odisha starts with a visit to the Bisamkatak and exploring the weekly market of chatikona Market. Here the Dongoriya Kondh tribes come to sell their wares. The Dongoriya Kondh are the tattoo faced tribes who are known for their rich irrigation, plantation, handicrafts and medical facilities. They have been adopting modern culture. In the noon, you will visit the traditional villages of artisans and craftsmen.You will drive  to Jeypore O/N at Hotel.


Day 7: Jeypore – Onkadelli – Jeypore: ( Market only on Thursday )


Morning drive to  Onkudelli- a bustling market, which is famous and culturally rich. This market is organized by the Bonda and gadabba tribes. The females in the Bonda tribes wear the thick silver neck bands. These tribes live on an enchanted hill and are also one of the most primitive tribes who speak a dialect called “gutap”. Your Tribal tours in Odisha canot be complete without this place. Then your next stop will be the Boro Gadaba and the pottery villages. This will help you see the amazing handmade pot designs.The overnight stay will be in Jeypore.

Day8: Jeypore – Kunduli – Vishakhapatnam: ( Market only on Friday )
