Day 1 (Wednesday): Arrival at Raipur
Our representative meets you at the Airport. On arrival you are transferred to hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served inside the hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2 (Thursday): Raipur – Bhoramdeo
Today we will drive to Bhoramdeo , the region of the Baiga tribes. In the afternoon we shall have lunch at Bhoramdeo Jungle resort and talk a walk in the old Bhoramdeo temple complex . Later in the noon we shall move on to Chilipi Weekly market which commences only on Thursdays. Return back to the resort.
Day 3 (Friday): Bhoramdeo – Taregaon Weekly Market – Bhoramdeo
In the morning we shall visit the villages of the Baiga. Meet the people and interact with them , see their daily life and methods of cultivation and irrigation. In the afternoon we shall visit the famous weekly market at Taregaon which commences only on Fridays. Overnight at Resort.
Day 4 (Saturday): Bhoramdeo – Rajim – Raipur
Today we are going to return back to Raipur. On the way we shall stop by at Old Rajim Temple which is considered to be the Prayag of Chattisgarh.
Day 5 (Sunday): Raipur – Kanker
Today we will drive to Kanker region of Muria Gonds. We shall visit one of the villages and request to see one of the interesting Deer masked dance. Overnight will be at Kanker.
Day 6 (Monday): Kanker – Tokepal – Jagdalpur
After Breakfast we will drive to Jagdalpur region of the Gond tribes. We shall visit the colorful weekly market at Tokepal. Betting here takes place in the form of cock fights. In the evening we can also visit the anthropological museum.
Day 7 (Tuesday): Jagdalpur
In the morning we shall visit Chitrakoot waterfalls, also known as the Niagra falls of India . The afternoon will be spent to visit villages of the Maria gond tribe. A traditional dance can be arranged as per request. Return back to hotel.
Day 8 (Wednesday): Departure to Vishakapatnam/Raipur
After breakfast, proceed to Vishakapatnam / Raipur
